SPEAKER_01The real world is where your boss doesn't care that you haven't been raised to take criticism. The real world is where your wife or your baby mama or your girlfriend doesn't care that your daddy hasn't had the conversations with you that he should have. The real world is where a cop pulls you over and doesn't care that your parents have done everything for you. The real world is where you have to take accountability for your actions. There are consequences for your actions. Now some of us and some of you are raising your children in homes where they don't have to take any responsibility, any accountability for their actions. So there are no consequences for what they do. You are setting your child up for failure. You are setting yourself up for some nights crying alone in the bathroom. Because the real world doesn't care. You don't protect your children by making the world for them, making them think that they can do whatever they want to do, there are no consequences. The world is yours. No. You protect your children by showing them how to survive in the real world. That's how you protect your children. That's what the real world is. Consequences. If you're raising your child in a place where there's no consequences, then you don't know what the real world is. And neither will they.
